Association for Individual Development - Christie Plotzke
Christie Plotzke, director of development for the Association for Individual Development, spoke on the organization’s work with people with disabilities. For 50 years AID has provided services to individuals who have developmental and physical disabilities, and/or a mental illness, and those who have suffered a trauma or at risk.
– AID operated 31 residential sites in the Fox Valley.
– Overall they serve over 5000 clients in 20 programs operating in 45 communities.
- The Victim Services Program served 200 last year in Batavia alone.
