Letter from Interact.

Interact Club at the Batavia High School has been super busy with volunteering in the month of October! From helping package food at Feed My Starving Children to watching a movie at inclusion movie night at the Batavia Public Library, there has been a lot of students participating in both of these events. Interact Club, also, linked up the Central Dupage Hospital for Halloween. We got fifty bags and filled them with gooey eyeballs, pencils, and other halloween toys. Then we donated all of them to Central Dupage Hospital for Halloween. It was a blast and all the children in the hospital loved the goodie bags. We plan to do something with the hospital again sometime this school year. Along with the Halloween theme, there was a huge amount of people volunteering with the Haunted Quarry downtown Batavia. They got to dress up on the weekends and make the Haunted Quarry come alive by scaring the little kids. Everyone had so much fun, definitely a success. There is a handful of volunteer opportunities coming up for the holidays that Interact Club is tremendously excited about!
