We've just completed our semi-annual grant awards and are happy to announce that we awarded $28,890 to various organizations. Our philanthropy supports local, domestic, and international causes that are support Rotary's Seven Areas of Focus. The causes must also be in sync with our local club's guidelines of helping children, disaster relief, education, community service, health care, and community goodwill. Here are the organizations receiving support in this session. Aunty Mary's Storybook, Batavia Depot Museum, Batavia Fireworks Fund, Bikes for Batavia, Chip In Batavia, Fox Valley Patriotic Organization, Fox Valley Special Recreation Foundation, Hearten Haiti Project, Humanitarian Service Project, King's Organization, Lazarus House, Mid-Valley Special Recreation Special Olympics, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Rebuilding Together Aurora, StoveTeam, and YMCA Youth and Government.
