Batavia Rotary Celebrates Batavia Interact Club

On Wednesday, January 28 the Inaugural Batavia Interact Club Recognition Night was hosted by the Batavia Rotary Club. It showed Rotary Youth Service at its best. Interactors and Parents were able to gain knowledge of all that Rotary has to offer the youth committed to Interact. Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people, ages 12 to 18, who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. Rotary club service chairs shared information on Youth Leadership Awards, Long and Short Term Exchange Programs and Scholarships offered from the Batavia Rotary Club.  The Interact Club to date has donated over 1,150 hours of service to those in need in our community and were also honored for their service. Batavia Interact Club has over 100 members.
